It’s official. according to ESPN‘s Darren Rovell, Nike has terminated Manny Pacquiao’s contract after 10 years with the brand. Here’s what Nike had to say:

Manny Pacquiao made some incredibly offensive, anti-gay remarks this week, and despite an apology on his social media, the insensitive comments ended up costing him his contract with Nike in its entirety.

TMZ reports that Nike has officially cut ties with the 37-year-old boxer, noting that Pacquiao’s merchandise and name have been taken off of Nike’s website.
